American Red Cross - Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED- Blended Learning

Is this course for me? Please note that if you are a healthcare provider or healthcare student who requires CPR certification this course will not fulfill your requirements. Register for our Basic Life Support course to meet your requirements.

  

General Course Information: The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adult, child & infant. The course is also designed to help non-medical professionals provide assistance in times of crisis and allow you to gain an understanding of first aid best practices for a wide range of conditions. 

Students Receive: An American Red Cross eCard (valid for 2 years) will be sent within 24 hours of completing the skills session.

Audience: Teachers, Coaches, Fitness professionals, Early chilhood providers, Parents, Grandparents, Camp Counselors, Construction, Daycare Workers, or any community member who wants to learn life saving skills. 

 

There are TWO parts to the American Red Cross Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Blended Online course:

  1. Part 1 (Online Course) provided after registration via email to be completed at your home or office
  2. Part 2  (Skills Session) at one of our in-person skills sessions

American Red Cross - Adult First Aid/CPR/AED- Blended

Is this course for me? Please note that if you are a healthcare provider or healthcare student who requires CPR certification then this course will not fulfill your requirements. Register for our Basic Life Support course to meet your requirements.

  

General Course Information: The Adult First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students how to respond to a combinations of first aid, breathing and cardiac emergencies to help adult victims during medical emergencies. 

Students Receive: An American Red Cross eCard (valid for 2 years) will be sent within 24 hours of completing the skills session.

Audience: Teachers/Professors, Coaches, Massage Therapists, Health & Fitness Professionals, Construction Workers, General office of workplace staff, and other individuals who want to learn life saving skills.

Stacked Course: Students who enroll in the Adult only program will be dismissed from class after all Adult learning sections are complete. Plan to attend class for 1 hour, 45 minutes to complete the Adult skills session.

American Heart Association - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

Course Format: This course is instructor led facilitated by an American Heart Association authorized instructor.

Course Information: This course is for Healthcare Professionals (Individuals currently enrolled in school or working in the field such as EMTs, PAs, Nurses, Dentists, Physicians, Pharmacists, PTs, OTs, and other healthcare providers) who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. This course covers single rescue and Team BLS for Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED, use of the bag-valve mask, foreign-body airway obstruction, and special resuscitation situations. 

Students Receive: An American Heart Association completion card (valid for 2 years) assigned minutes after successful course completion.

American Heart Association - BLS Provider (Blended Learning Course)

**The online portion of this course is sold separately. Please allow 24-48 hours to purchase and complete the online course before scheduling your in person skills session** 

This course only includes the in-person skills session - The Online Program is Sold Separately.

 

Course Format: Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes a self-paced online course, followed by a hands-on skills session. We suggest purchasing the online course at least 2 days before the skills session and allowing 2 hours to complete the online portion of this course. The hands-on skills session is completed in person with an American Heart Association authorized Instructor. Any student can take the course in a blended format, but its recommended for experienced students due to the fast pace nature of the course.

American Red Cross: First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor

Instructor Course: One Day Class

 

This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED courses for the American Red Cross.

In order to participate in this course, you must:

  • Possess a current basic-level First Aid/CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent
  • Be at least 16 years of age by the day of the instructor course.

Upon registration, it is important that you review and follow all directions included in the email sent with your registration confirmation. This is a blended learning course consisting of online content, a skills session and classroom segments. Online material must be completed prior to attending the classroom activities.

 

Acceptable Base Level Certifications: American Red Cross (ARC), American Heart Association (AHA), Health & Safety Institute (HSI). All other training providers are not accepted for this program, including online only courses. There is a link below to outline course requirements and equivalency.

Ready Response Online Only Course

About the Course: The Online Only CPR + Choking course is intended for a general audience of people interested in learning life saving skills to help impact survival outcomes in home, the office or the community. This engaging course will teach skills for CPR and breathing emergencies in Adults, Children and Infants.

Included in the Course: This course includes a 20-minute online learning session + 5 printable skill reference sheets for use at home or the office.
